The lonely soldiers and female soldiers, full of motivation, ready to serve in the combat units, they are excited to serve for the country and the flag, but on holidays or weekends they have no home to return to!
The first Beit Almog Shiloni was inaugurated in March 2015, since then about 70 single soldiers have lived and are living in 4 houses in the city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut.
The houses are equipped and designed down to the smallest details and allow each soldier to enjoy privacy in the room assigned to him for the duration of his military service.
At Beit Almog Shiloni we believe in a comprehensive and complete envelope for the soldier and his needs.
We assign personal mentors to every soldier who is interested in this, along with providing tools for dealing with life such as financial management, language studies, enrichment, private lessons, driving lessons and more.
The soldiers benefit from a response to every need, starting with a family that supports and accompanies them throughout the service, also the management of the association takes care of food that is always in the refrigerator and pantry, care for the cleanliness of the house, civilian clothing and the type of shampoo he likes, Beit Almog Shiloni is Shabbat observant and recognized as a home for lone soldiers by The IDF..
Today, 22 soldiers and female soldiers live in the houses of the Beit Almog Shiloni association, and they are accompanied by 22 families from the community. The family accompanies the soldier in everything he needs, with an emphasis on his emotional needs, hospitality for meals on weekends, daily communication and sincere interest in his well-being, visits to the unit, participation in ceremonies and events such as graduation A course, parents' day, the oath, beret journey and more.
